Day 7 - A Bar in Redshore
Adriana and her new friend seem like they had a bad day. I was told we aren't going back out tomorrow. I think I'll let Adriana sleep off her relaxing she is doing now till some time tomorrow afternoon. Then I'll give her the gear. I don't want to disturb her with it right now.
Day 7 - Redshore Cemetary
Couldn't find Adriana, so I guess she's busy.
After I asked around about help finding Dad, I mentioned why I was in jail. Went and asked Adriana's friend Laden Ashtree about it. It seems Dumar's base in Redshore is hidden so they gave me a ring that makes people think I'm thinking of a squirrel playing a banjo. Mom always loved that illusion. They are going to look for Dad when my turn comes up, so here's hoping.
That done, I went to several taverns and played a few songs and then pulled my gold from the bank. I made enough gold to get Adriana a present. It took talking to a few Gnomes and even a Kobold, but I got her an attachment for her gun. It seems this little gear adds the same effects as a 'Shiner crossbow' (NOT a normal crossbow!). They showed me what it does. It was awesome! Fireballs, webs, and normal bullets, though I couldn't figure out where the bullets come from.
At the moment, I'm sitting under a chair near Mom's spot here, watching the sun go down. I think I'm going to sit here a few more minutes, playing her favorite song. Then I'll go find Adriana.

Day 6 - Approaching Redshore
We found the bird in the woods near that poor farmers fields. It was eating one of his cows. We beat out a fairy to catch it. I feel bad for getting him hurt, so I'm taking his arm back to see if I can get him raised.
When we got back to Adriana's wheel, there was a pax suit, so I tried to take out the drivers. I got the runner, but the gunner saw me. Adriana saved me. Now I'm running in the suit while she drives her wheel, bird in tow.
I need to get her something, since she keeps bailing me out.

Day 5 - Oakhaven
Today was sort of event full, so this will take some telling.
Me and Adriana were told we were hunting a collection of birds. One of them is a giant blood drinking bird of some kind. We got a tag along for today. I was shocked to find it was a Drow. Adriana got mad at me for preparing to defend myself, I'm so stupid sometimes.
We took the Drow with us to Oakhaven. We were in the inn for a matter of minutes before he attacked the innkeeper. I tried to subdue him, but was too weak. Lucky for me, Adriana was there to stop him. We returned to Redshore, Adriana took the Drow somewhere, then we got the innkeeper resurrected.
To repay for the assault in his own common room, I spent the evening entertaining his patrons. He seems to get a lot of customers each night. Adriana made some excellent food. Found a farmer down on his luck, yelling profanities about birds. Gonna check in tomorrow.

A Dream
I dreamed last night:
I was standing in a crowd on the side of a street. The street and traffic lights are made of stone. I know that it was the enemy that did it. They touch things and turn them to stone. They stay to the streets though. The enemy is similar to a metal block, I just took it for granted that they can move at a regular speed, though the specifics of their propulsion eludes me. They were transporting their wounded, small square piles of stone and dust, to a abandoned brick factory at the edge of town to repair them. One of the people on the other side of the road steps through them towards our side. He is a prominent politician, becoming a statue in the middle of the road.

Day 4 – Redshore
Got a raise, and so did Grend, but now I don't work with Grend anymore. I at least get to keep working with Adriana and the crumpets at the meeting were great. Oh, and there was a Flett carrying a snack cart. This place is full of such unique races!
Adriana seems sad, I'll wait to ask her why.
Just found out what RIDA stands for. I need a drink.

Day 4 - Dukey
I'm writing this from inside a big metal suit with cool magical weapons having just fended off an ambush, discovered their secret base, defeated a small army, and destroyed their fortress. I feel so cool right now. Adriana went to get word to RIDA about what is going on. She keeps some sort of cannon in her arm. Grend is dead, but Adriana says he'll be fine. I hope so. Maybe she took something back for a cler{writing stops mid word.}
Was just attacked by some sort of flying creature. It used a sonic blast on the caravan workers and I, but I scared it off. If we don't make it:
-Grend, don't be dead.
-Dad, sorry I haven't had time to find out where you got off to.
-Mom, you always said I'd find an adventure someday.
-Adriana, thanks for the adventure, its the best I ever had.

Day 3 – Dukey (hahaha)
Swing ship not as good as zeppelin, end of story.
Met my new partner today. Adriana. She seems really nice, and she's a Drahv! She has a clockwork arm and leg, have to ask her where she got them later. My new boss, Grend, said that tomorrow we are going to set out back towards Redshore (sweet, more trips through the city!) as caravan guards. :(Sounds dull.) He said a lot of caravans get attacked, but seems like a nice place, and everyone is friendly, so shouldn't be so bad.

Offered a job as some sort of constable. Seems like it could be a lot of fun, but they are sending me out to the Dukey (hahahahaha, I wrote Dukey), and nothing interesting happens out in the country.

I'm free! This RIDA group said I was supposed to get out 30 years ago, but my paperwork was lost when the city was under reconstruction. Oh well, they made me young again!
Seems a lot of things are new in Redshore. A Drahv (how rare!) showed me around the city, there is a district made out of mithril, and a floating district, and a sideways district, and giant towers! And the people! So many races, strange clothing and gear, and so many different magical devices. A big metal spider almost ran me over. My bank seems to have a bad reputation now, don't know why, Blue Talon money lending never seemed that unsafe.
I feel bad for my Hinj (a Drahv!), he seemed to come down with a headache, the song I sang him didn't seem to soothe him.
